Setting up Views
Views are used to setup specific combinations of models and floors that are loaded at the same time. This process helps BIM/VDC engineers to prepare the required information for the construction site staff. In the Navigation Panel choose Views (1) and then click on New View (2). You are asked to name the View. Optionally you can add a description to specify its contents.
Adding Models to the View
Click on Add Models (3) and click the checkboxes (4) of the models that should be included into the view.
Here it is important to set a main model that will be used as the positioning model (5). This is typically the architectural or structural model. Finish by clicking on add (6)
Setting up Levels
After adding the models, you need to now select the levels that should be loaded with the view(7). Views are loaded with a default level to start with. This “Main Level” set by clicking on Main Level (8); Please ensure to deactivate all unnecessary views.
Publishing views
At the moment, the view is saved but not published. Only after publishing (9), a view is made available to project members
