Importing issues from GAMMA AR CSV exports into Revit to optimize design change and site workflows

Importing CSV Issue Data Into Revit to optimize design workflows

You can import Data from GAMMA AR into Revit to highlight to the designers all changes they need to resolve for the site to progress further.

Using this workflow, you can highlight all design change requests in floorplans, Sections, Elevations, and in 3D Views.

Additionally, the imported data in Revit can help to facilitate logistics by combining the issue data with information stored in Revit. For example, you can directly see, which new materials or components need to be reordered or adapted.

Exporting CSVs from GAMMA and importing CSV data into Revit using Dynamo

1.Export from GAMMA BIM PORTAL  as CSV (1).
2.Import CSV into Revit using Dynamo Script with the following link: GAMMADynamoNodes (2).

Use filters to Highlight Data and use Spreadsheets to display lists of affected components

To highlight objects with issues, use filters in Revit that are active if issues from GAMMA exist.

1.Create filters that are activated
2.To facilitate construction logistics, you can create spreadsheets in Revit to list objects for reworks and orders.
3.This is an Example Model where all filters are already setup
